Upcoming events, exciting news
I’m going to keep this short. It’s late… I’m tired… still have a million things to do. But here I was, missing you, so why torture myself. I’ve noticed a little peak in my traffic… so I might be a bit excited.
Im going on a very special trip (not the drug induced kind)
If you take a little look to the right, you will see a fun little widget. Click this… it will take you to my fundraiser site. I’m raising money to spend some time in Costa Rica. It’s a volunteer abroad trip, and I’m super excited about it. I’m going to spend a couple weeks doing whatever it is they decide to assign me. I’ve been volunteering quite a bit over the years for various organizations, e.g., Habitat for Humanity, Northwest Animal Companions, Boise Schools Community Education, Idaho Rivers United (I got to show a bunch of kids how to paint fish- Gyotaku). So I’ve been spending some quality time with Rosetta Stone to brush up on my Spanish. I’ve also been spending an insane amount of time on my art. All the money I make from commissions and art shows has been going straight to this fund. Thank you kind supporters & fans, Costa Rica thanks you as well.
I’m going to have a little cyber yard sale.
Again, trying to raise some funds (see #1). This shouldn’t be as creepy as it sounds. I’m going to post some items on craigslist and on my blog. These things may or may not include mountain bikes and musical instruments. I’ll keep you posted.
I will be showing my art at Thomas Hammer in November.
This is going to be a great show. I plan on having my usual First Thursday opening night. Once again, I’ll keep you posted.
Prints available soon
For those of you who have been following me, you’ll notice my Etsy store has been empty for months. This is simply unacceptable. I apologize. I’m planning on having prints made and they should be ready with plenty of time for the holidays. I will post these to Etsy, but if you are living in Boise you can save on shipping by simply emailing me.
Okay, with that I am off to finish some other pressing duties. Have a good Monday!
