There are many lines in every life. We draw, stand, purchase, walk, dance and define them. This is my line, my process & my evolution. At this moment “the line” appears as a mass of indistinguishable pixels. With time the pixels will merge and form a solid line. This is a documentation of those pixels, the small pieces and parts that make me an artist” a designer. This is experimentation, documentation, and growth. It is fluid and will evolve at my every whim.
The original focus of this site was, well, rather personal. A blog focused on running & graphic design. This might sound like an odd paring, but most my ideas come from running, my passion comes from design, and my stability comes from integration of the two. I feel rather off balance when I ignore either element. My career has been shifting over the years. I set out into the world determined to create printed pieces of design. I did just that, lots of that in fact. Then I found myself in situations where it was necessary to bring my design skills into a whole new media. I took the plunge. Dived head first into web design & development. I swallowed a lot of water and nearly died a few times, but somehow found my way to float along in the mighty interactive ocean.
If you read through this hefty blog, or even find yourself on my original blogspot, you will probably note these shifts in my discipline. More importantly, you will note my more recent shift. My focus on fine art. I should rephrase that, it’s not so much a shift as it is a conquering of fear. The fear of sharing my art with the world. This year, I decided why not. So here it is folks, my art. Have at it!
