Everyone has their skeletons, some people hold on to them forever. They let their skeletons sit in their closets & collect dust. They will get buried by life, but they are always there. Usually they pop up unexpected. They might cause some tears or suddenly make their keeper feel the way they did when they first shoved the skeleton away in the closet. Sometimes it’s a good idea to move yourself away from your skeletons, other times it’s good to deal with them and give them a proper burial. Most the time, they are simply ignored— until they pop up, unexpected.
Oh, and someone found my blog by googling “dehydrated baby elephants”…. I don’t even want to know what they were originally looking for.

That’s getting dangerously close to the house I grew up in. When I was little, my dad used to use his backhoe to build giant snow hills in the lot next door. Then my brothers and I would build snow steps to the top and sled down it until we were so tired our legs would wobble under our weight. More than 200 homes have been damaged or destroyed. Now is a good time to pray for those who have lost everything and be thankful for the things you have.

“90% of what print designers produce on paper will be thrown away within a year, which means that eventually most things we print will be discarded, end up in a land-fill or become recycled
into post-consumer paper.”

This is the snout of one of my new friends. I spent the last two weekends being a dog sitter and it was fantastic. Now you must all refer to me as “Dog sitting extraordinaire”

Click it, join it, create it- it’s BGDM- Boise Graphic Design Meetup. I like to call it “group”. Especially when I am talking with people I don’t really know.
“I’m sorry, I can’t make it… I have ‘group’ tonight”
I think it gives me that extra eclectic flare and air of mystery. Or maybe it leaves people wondering what kind of issues I am trying to recover from in group therapy. It’s always fun to keep people on their toes- but you know what is more fun? —”group”
Have a pleasant evening everyone!

I think our version is better than the original, well… at least it’s shorter.

I was so excited about this piece of sign foam. It was sooo cool with it rectangular shape and sandy texture. I couldn’t wait to carve it and sand it—make something beautiful. So here it is- it needs some more work, but I find it charming. My feedback so far has been:
“You have a great future as and old man whittler”
“It looks like it should be in a wedding”
“Maybe some old ladies would like this!”
So it appears people like it …
